Stephen X. Graham, Chairman
Stephen X. Graham has more than thirty years of investment banking experience with both public and private companies, encompassing financings, mergers & acquisitions, and strategic advisory services. Prior to founding CrossHill, he was a Principal of the investment banking firm Kidder, Peabody & Co., which was a subsidiary of General Electric Capital Corporation. Mr. Graham was the Regional Director of the Direct Investment Group in the Midwest Region (Chicago) and the New England Region (Boston). He was responsible for financings in many industries, including Information Technology, Biotechnology, Cable, Real Estate, Broadcasting, Utility Finance, and Equipment Leasing. Prior to Kidder, Peabody, Mr. Graham held positions with Merrill, Lynch & Co. and Ernst & Young.
Mr. Graham was the founder of Prestwick Companies, the assets of which, were spun-out to create Prestwick Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was sold to Biovail Corp.Mr. Graham is a founder of ACell Inc., a regenerative medicine company He is the General Partner of CrossHill Georgetown Capital, LP and CrossHill Debt II, LP. Mr. Graham is Chairman of Stoneacre Acquisition Company / Official NASCAR Membership Club. In addition, he is a board member of Transaction Network Services, Inc. (NYSE:TNS), Central Park Credit Bank, Speedus Corp., Density Dynamics Corporation and the Washington D.C. International Film Festival. Mr. Graham was a board member of Top Layer Networks, Inc. and negotiated the sale of Top Layer to Corero plc in March, 2011.
Mr. Graham is a graduate of Georgetown University and received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
David Hickson, President & CEO
David Hickson, President & CEO of Stoneacre Acquisition Company, is a founding partner of Stoneacre and since 2001, has served as President of Stoneacre and NMP, its wholly owned subsidiary. Stoneacre operates affinity programs for Sports and Entertainment clients including, NASCAR, The NBA Charlotte Bobcats, The University of Cincinnati (athletics), The American Outdoorsmen Group, and The National Football League Alumni (NFLA). Under the leadership of Mr. Hickson, Stoneacre has developed technologies and methodologies to help high affinity brands optimize ROI at the convergence of brand marketing and direct response marketing including: Lead Generation, database development, a proprietary Fan DirectTM marketing platform, Interactive Broadcast Media programs, multi-variable, test and control campaign management and the development of continuity/subscription programs.
Mr. Hickson brings with him over 20 years of affinity marketing experience with clients such as Major League Baseball, Anheuser-Busch, The National Football League, Petersen Publishing, The PGA, Motor Trend Magazine, Warner Brothers, and the NHL. Prior to forming Stoneacre Partners, Mr. Hickson served as a founding member and Executive Vice President of Chek.com, a web based affinity e-mail provider. Under his direction, Chek.com grew to become the number one outsource affinity e-mail provider in the world, acquiring over 10 million affinity e-mail users. Chek.com raised over $26 million in capital and eventually merged with San Francisco based My Personal.com to form Synacor, Inc.
Stephen Brady, Board Member
Stephen Brady is a graduate of Northeastern University and is currently a Managing Director of Deutsche Bank. Mr. Brady also sits on the board of the Capital Area Food Bank.
Previously, he was a partner at Kidder, Peabody & Co., a division of GE Capital. In addition, Mr. Brady worked at Merrill, Lynch & co.
Mr. Brady is actively involved in politics and many charitable causes.
Nicholas Perrins, Board Member
Nicholas Perrins is a Founder and Principal of Dyson Capital Advisors, an investment advisory firm, X-10 Capital Partners, a long-short hedge fund, and Novus Energy Partners, a clean energy growth capital fund.
Mr. Perrins, a graduate of Boston University, is currently on the board of RideChare and is active at Dub, a contact management company.
Team
Matt Newsom, Senior Vice President, Acquisition
Matt Newsom directs all membership acquisition, contextual lead generation, and campaign management programs for Stoneacre’s affinity properties and partnerships. Matt has led the development of techniques and processes to generate significant revenues through online media, email marketing, and social media. Under his leadership, one of Stoneacre’s properties, the Official NASCAR Members Club, has generated over 300,000 paying members and yielded a database of 4,500,000 contextual leads that drive revenue and added value to internal and external industry stakeholders. In addition Matt participates in the company’s business development projects.
Matt Newsom joined Stoneacre Acquisition Company, Inc. in 2005 after three years at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Prior to working in NASCAR, he founded and was President/CEO of CoachingSports.net, a sports publishing company that produced and sold instructional coaching materials and subscriptions through direct response and internet marketing channels. He began his career in professional sports as the general manager of minor league baseball and hockey franchises in the Chicago Cubs and Vancouver Canucks organizations.
Larry Griffiths, Senior Vice President, Marketing
Larry Griffith joined the team at SAC in Charlotte NC in November of 2004 focusing primarily on the operational aspects of managing the NASCAR affinity contract.
Mr. Griffith's energy is placed specifically toward new business development and securing new affinity relationships. The constant development of new revenue streams including new brand relationships, sales of access to the contextual databases, campaign management services, and mail file are all areas Mr. Griffith's tasks revolve around.
James T. Brady, Vice President, Sales
James T. Brady is one of the founding partners of SAC, Inc. and is presently responsible for the Fan Direct™ program, the proprietary direct to consumer marketing platform and supporting campaign management now offered to NASCAR stakeholders and growing vertical applications. Jim has been instrumental in the overall growth of the company, managing numerous programs including product development, strategic sourcing and human resources.
Prior to joining SAC Jim was SVP of Sales for Cyrk Inc. With annual sales of one billion dollars, Cyrk was the largest supplier of private label, branded promotional products in the world. Jim was fully responsible for a number of their largest multinational accounts including M&M Mars, Timberland and Fidelity.
Jim has formerly been a contributor in several businesses including Albany International: Primaloft Systems, a component product supplied to fashion brands of apparel and home furnishings. He helped initiate the new brand in positions he held in marketing, sales, business development and manufacturing.
Mary Kay Chandler, Office Manager
Mary Kay grew up in Westchester County, NY and received her undergraduate degree from Siena College. She was subsequently employed for 16 years at the National Association of Realtors in Washington, DC, providing software support and training to members and staff. Prior to joining the Stoneacre team in 2004, Mary Kay was the Office Manager for the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce in California.
Jamie Smith, Retention and Renewal Manager
Jamie Smith - After completing her degree in Organizational Communications at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jamie worked for the UNCC Women’s Basketball program as a team manager until moving full time to Stoneacre in 2007.
While at Stoneacre, Jamie has held a number of key positions; one of which included organizing and running the annual Official NASCAR Members Club (ONMC) National Convention – a four day event where Official NASCAR Members from all over the country come to Charlotte, NC to enjoy exclusive tours and events. Since then, Jamie has moved to managing product, renewal and retention for ONMC, and on boarding new clients.
Cam Lawler, Account Manager
Cam Lawler joined the Stoneacre team where his focus will be on all areas of a client’s account from inception to launch.
Prior to joining SAC, Cam was the Director of IT and Web Services at the Duke University Alumni Association in Durham, NC. His work experience also includes 7 years in the Duke Athletics Department and time at start-up companies in NC. Cam’s educational background includes a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.B.A. with a focus on strategy, marketing, & management.
Nicholas David, Product Manager
Nicholas David joined the Stoneacre team where he will focus on developing content and managing product for all Stoneacre clients.
Prior to joining the Stoneacre team, Nick was Marketing Director at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. Nick’s educational background includes a B.A. in Marketing and an M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications from St. Bonaventure University.
Amanda DiVeglio, Campaign Manager
Amanda DiVeglio received her B.A in Communication Studies with a focus on Organizational Communication in 2009 from the University of North Carolina.
As a Campaign Manager for Stonacre, she develops, executes, implements and tracks both email and display marketing campaigns. She is constantly staying on top of the latest marketing trends to develop new communications to our targeted audience with an overall goal of enhancing the brand awareness and acquiring new members.
Matt Dusenberry, Account Executive - FanDirect™
Matt Dusenberry has over 12 years of diverse experience in the motorsports industry. In 1999 after attending his first NASCAR race Matt began racing competitively in NASCAR regional short track racing divisions. After making a decision to shift his focus within motorsports from competition to business, Matt moved from Boston to North Carolina to attend High Point University where he received a degree in Business Management. Matt was able to parlay his on-track experience and motorsports expertise into his current full-time position at Stoneacre managing all NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series events for the Official NASCAR Members Club program.
In addition to his At-Track duties, Matt consults NASCAR sponsors, teams, drivers, licensees on how to market directly to the consumer through affinity and database marketing directly to the consumer.
Ron Lemasters Jr, Content Manager/Editor
Ron Lemasters Jr. is the Content Manager/Editor at Stoneacre Inc. A graduate of Ball State University in his hometown of Muncie, Ind., Lemasters has been a professional writer and editor for 30 years. He began his career as a sportswriter at the age of 16 and has worked for The Nashville Network, World Sports Enterprises, GM Racing, National Speed Sport News and TrueSpeed Communications in that span.
While concentrating on motorsports for much of his career, Lemasters has extensive writing experience in professional and major college sports including football, basketball and volleyball as well as in public relations at the highest levels of NASCAR.
Martha Newsom, Controller
Martha Newsom joined SAC in May 2009 as Controller where she is responsible for all aspects of accounting including month-end closing and reporting, facilitating the year-end audit and providing pertinent data to help with the annual tax preparation.
A 22-year member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants, Martha has experience in public accounting and the mortgage industry. She has a B.S. in Accounting from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Tracey Brady, Operations and Special Projects
Tracey Brady began working with Stoneacre in the Boston based office in 2004 when the company was founded. In the company's infancy she worked in many capacities, assisting wherever needed. In early 2010, she and her husband Jim moved to Charlotte, to begin working in Charlotte. Tracey is currently working on Operations and special Projects.
Tracey is a graduate of Hillsdale College and received a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations.
Jen Elwood, Customer Service Manager
Jen Elwood graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a business degree with a concentration in Marketing and a Minor in Psychology.
Upon joining Stoneacre, Jen was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Customer Service Call Center. In addition as supervisor, Jen is responsible for the day to day operations in the Customer service center, including personnel, scheduling, training and reporting. Jen also acts as the liaison to operations and acquisition for preparing, documenting and scheduling the fulfillment of products.
Chris Ball, Member Services
Chris Ball received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies at Arizona State University.
Chris worked as a race car mechanic at Billy Boat Motorsports in Phoenix AZ. Upon graduation, Chris moved to Charlotte, NC and continued to work in the Motorsports industry. When the opportunity at Stoneacre presented itself he was happy to begin working even closer in the industry of the sport that he loves.
Chris’s responsibilities as Customer Service Rep began with the development and implementation of the Customer Service Call Center., Other responsibilities include assisting customer service needs and aiding in operations of acquisition. Parlaying his at-track experience and motorsports knowledge, Chris helps support all NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series events for the Official NASCAR Members Club program.
David Scism, Member Services
David Scism graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S in Sports Management and a Minor in Business Administration. Upon graduating, David returned to Charlotte to complete an internship with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers for the 2010-2011 seasons as an event operations assistant. David has also worked for the regional Miller Brewing Company distributor in the Charlotte area.
David was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Customer Service Call Center as well as his current day-to-day duties of servicing members in the NASCAR affinity program as well as assisting in the development future clients programs.
Deandra Danch, Member Services

Deandra Danch graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/mass communication. Deandra served as the Media Relations Assistant at Coastal Carolina and Public Relations Assistant at the Big South Conference where she was the media liaison for various sports, including women’s basketball, men’s soccer and softball. Deandra’s experience with Coastal Carolina and Big South included assisting events such as the 2010 NCAA Baseball Regional’s and Super Regional’s. In addition, Deandra also assisted in the first and second rounds of the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament in the Charlotte Region.
As a Customer Service Representative, Deandra’s main responsibilities are assisting members through telecommunications and electronic mail, daily operations of acquisition and database and website management.
Anthony Magazu, Member Services

Anthony Magazu graduated from Kent State with a B.A. degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Organizational Communication earning a Certificate of Achievement from the KSU School of Communication Studies for his senior portfolio. Upon graduating, Anthony began coaching football at Wingate University for the 2010 season; leading the Wingate Bulldogs to become the first team in the school’s history to win the SAC conference and head to the playoffs.
Anthony earned a full football scholarship to play quarterback for KSU. Serving as a three-year Letterwinner, and his involvement on the KSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), helped his transition to the Stoneacre core values.
As a Customer Service Representative, Anthony is involved in various roles including, acquisition and reporting as well as account management.
